2016 review and update
2016 was the year it all began here at Endpoint, and in a relative short space of time we have had a number of key highlights since our birth, just 7 months ago in May.
May – Endpoint goes live with a CS:GO team and announce the pickup of the leading UK Overwatch lineup playing as ‘Sterling‘.
July – After a series of promising online performances, we announce our partnership with HyperX.
August 12th – Endpoint Overwatch qualify for the ESL UK Premiership playoffs in first place over 4 qualifying tournaments.
August 26th – Our Overwatch team take 3rd place at the organisations first LAN event, Multiplay’s insomnia 58 event.
September – We announce the signing of our new CS:GO team, the highest ranked British team in the ESEA leagues.
October 12th – Our CS:GO team attend our first overseas LAN event after getting invited to represent the UK at WCA, China.
October 18th – We partner with our first FIFA streamer as S1rus joins the organisation.
November – Endpoint merge with another leading UK organisation, VATIC, acquiring their backroom staff and infrastructure.
December – Our CS:GO team place 2nd in the Multiplay UK Masters and the Insomnia 59 event tournament.
With so much momentum, we can’t wait to see what 2017 brings for us as an organisation and we are grateful to all of our sponsors and fans for supporting us along the way.
2017 is due to kick off with a hectic schedule for our Counter Strike : Global Offensive team as we have direct invites into the UK Masters and UK Gaming Tours tournaments as well as a new season of the ESL UK Premiership getting underway. We will keep you updated with the progress within each of these tournaments.
Unfortunately, our current Overwatch team that came over with the VATIC merge are no longer with the organisation due to internal issues. We hope to announce our plans for Overwatch within the next month.
