Following the recent failure to qualify for UK Masters, the team have taken the decision to attend the upcoming Copenhagen Games tournament. The tournament will see a number of tier 2/3 teams in attendance and will provide us with a great chance to bootcamp with some of the best teams from around Europe. The event will be a chance for the team to gain some additional experience as well as meet up with our recent addition, Sparker. All of this will benefit us, whilst also giving us the opportunity to compete for the 50,000 euro prize pot on offer.
We will be attending the event with:
Statement from Adam ‘Adz’ Jessop, Endpoint CEO
Whilst it was disappointing not to qualify for the UK Masters final, the team played well and there were a number of events that were outside of our control that took their toll on the team. We still fully believe in our core lineup and want to push them to be the best they can be, this includes competing at the highest pedigree of events around Europe. Working to buck the trend of teams folding after sub-par results goes both ways, we have to do our bit as an organisation and the team has to do theirs. It’s been a rocky road since January but the opportunity and experience of playing amongst some of the strongest tier 2/3 teams will be invaluable to them, as well as giving them a bootcamp environment where they can spend some time as a team. This was always going to be part of our long term plan, that we intend to see out, together.
Whilst at the event we will be representing our sponsors that made this possible: ArcaneBet, HyperX and GamersApparel. We will also be regularly updating you with the teams progress and bringing you media surrounding the team.
